THORSTEIN VEBLEN
You may recognise the term ‘Veblen Good’, coined by American economist, Thorstein Veblen. The Veblen effect is where people’s preferences for buying the good increases in direct correlation to increases in its price. We think Veblen is an ideal name to reflect the uniqueness of fine wine demand, its status symbol and exclusive character.
