What are the risks involved?

Please be aware that investments can go up as well as down in value and you may not get back all of your original investment.

Past performance is not an indicator for future performance.

How will I know which wines to buy and sell?

Your Veblen consultant will bring you regular, no obligation recommendations for buying and selling from our analysis department. We will bring you the analysis and recommendations – all you have to do is say “yes” or “no” and we will take care of everything else!

Where will I store my wine?

We will arrange for all wines to be stored in your name in our trade account at Vine International, where you will be the sole owner of your wines. Vine International is a specialist, fine wine storage provider, where all wines are kept in the best possible conditions to maximise your investment potential.

How can I be sure of the provenance and quality of the wine?

We buy wines from Liv-ex under the SIB (standard in bond) contract. This contract serves to protect the buyer by ensuring the bottles and cases are in optimum condition at the time of purchase. Provided that the wines remain stored at Vine International then the insurance package will cover any possible damage to your holding.

How do I sell?

We will be here to advise you when the correct time to sell arises. Should you wish to sell prior to our advice, all you have to do is give us a call. Your designated consultant will be on hand to offer you prices from the market for your acceptance. When wines are sold, monies will be returned to you on the 21st day of the month following the trade.
